Rob McGarry is a Real Estate Broker with Vista Sotheby’s International Realty in Hermosa Beach. Rob lives in Hermosa with his wife, Erin, and daughters, Kylie and Holly. Rob and Erin met and married at American Martyrs Church and remain actively involved in the parish. Kylie and Holly both attend American Martyrs School. Erin is a Pediatrician (Dr. Hamilton) with a small private practice in Torrance.
Rob has been a South Bay resident for most of his life. He grew up in South Redondo, where he attended St. James for elementary and junior high and Bishop Montgomery for high school. Rob continued his education just down the coast at the University of San Diego, where he earned a Bachelor of Accountancy. He played every sport he could find growing up, and he remains active now swimming or running just about every day. You might also see Rob coaching one of his girls’ teams or cheering from the sidelines.
Rob discovered his love for real estate at an early age when he purchased his first home at 23. He quickly learned that there was much more to owning a home than just the tax and financial benefits. The pride and joy that comes from homeownership is truly special. Rob also found that buying and selling a home is a very emotional process. Having the right person to guide you on that journey is invaluable. Rob enjoys being a part of his clients’ lives as a trusted real estate advisor.
